Medipouch® is a
discreet carrier for
personal medical gear.
The pouch is designed for people who must
carry small amounts of medicines or
auto-injectors such as the
EpiPen®,
Twinject™,
or Anapen®.
Medipouch®
is an
ideal auto-injector
holder for those with anaphylactic
reactions to foods, drugs, insect stings or Latex.
Medipouch®
is also a useful
carrier for anyone who
needs to keep pills or medicines close at hand.
The
Medipouch® product
line is designed
by the Aunt of two
relatives with
severe food
allergies.
When my nephew
Travis was in
elementary
school, he
worried about
carrying his
EpiPen. He
didn't want to
be viewed as
"different"
or to answer
lots of
questions about
his allergies. Medipouch®
was
designed as an
EpiPen holder
for
Travis
to wear
comfortably and
discreetly under
his
clothing. My niece Maria,
began wearing her pouch at
age six. She wears the standard pouch containing one injector,
her inhaler and a few pills.
As Travis
matured, he
requested an
EpiPen carrier he could
conceal under
his pant
leg.
Research and
design on the Medipouch®
Leg Wrap began
in 2007.
Due to
the unique design,
Medipouch®
auto-injector
pouches have
been awarded U.S. Patent number 6,508,391.
As seen in the images below, Medipouch®
carriers are designed to be
worn over or discreetly under clothing.
They are made of comfortable yet durable
materials that are
machine-washable. Medipouch®
uses
a hook and loop closure system with pull-tabs for easy and quick
access to medications.
